Ravens Fans Leave Clear Message Saying ‘Fire Greg Roman’ Outside Of Team Facility

With Greg Roman as offensive coordinator for the fourth consecutive season, the Baltimore Ravens offence is unquestionably at a turning point. The team’s performance since coming back from its bye week has been appallingly subpar.

Their difficulties in the red zone hit a peak in Week 15 when they only scored a field goal in a 13-3 loss to the Cleveland Browns on December 17, 2022. They had been scoring just 13.8 points on average in their last five games.

Ravens Fans Leave Clear Message Saying ‘Fire Greg Roman’ Outside Of Team Facility

On Saturday, the Baltimore Ravens offence struggled. Lamar Jackson was out with an injury, so backup Tyler Huntley started, but the club was up against the poor Cleveland Browns defence.

Despite their season-long troubles, the Browns managed to limit the Ravens to just three points. However, Ravens supporters made it obvious who they felt was at fault for that performance: offensive coordinator Greg Roman.

Searching “Greg Roman” on Twitter during the game turned up a lot of hate speech directed at the seasoned coordinator. Since then, the tweets have persisted.

Roman joined the group in 2017 and has served as the offensive coordinator since that time.

He has had coaching positions with the Baltimore Orioles, Houston Texans, San Francisco 49ers, and Buffalo Bills. He was a college and high school coach as well.

Fans who were so furious with him in this instance may be the first in his lengthy career to risk criminal trespass by delivering handwritten messages to the Baltimore team headquarters that said, “Fire Greg Roman.”

Tyus Bowser of the Ravens released a video of the notes on TikTok. Bowser later removed the video, but it was never forgotten on the Internet.

When he addressed the notes in his Monday media appearance, head coach John Harbaugh did so.

In addition, Harbaugh addressed Bowser, one of his players who had shared a video on social media in which supporters were seen calling for a coach to be fired. He claimed that at this time, it is not a problem for the squad.
