Last Friday night in a California burger joint, a large brawl between supporters of the San Francisco 49ers and the Las Vegas Raiders resulted in two stabbings.

Due to their affiliation with Oakland, the team and the San Francisco 49ers, who lived across town, grew close. Although they never faced off in the Super Bowl, the games between the two could be quite boisterous and intense.

Before the Niners played the Los Angeles Chargers on Friday, the two rival teams squared off in a preseason NFL game two weeks prior, which the Raiders ultimately won. Before the fight started, several Niners supporters went to a neighbouring In-N-Out Burger near the stadium where Las Vegas Raiders supporters had also gathered after the game.

On a video posted by TMZ, around a dozen people can be seen, with one man brandishing a knife and stabbing a shirtless man who was on the ground. Then, another guy was stabbed, and both victims were taken to a hospital to receive medical attention for their wounds. According to reports, neither guy had injuries that may have been fatal.

Friday night at 11:12, they put on their gloves and started working to demonstrate what a pair of scumbags these two sides can be.

“Upon arrival, SCPD officers detained multiple individuals and determined that two individuals sustained multiple stab wounds during the incident. Those victims were transported to a local hospital for treatment. The suspect is not in custody and remains outstanding,” the Santa Clara Police Department said in a Facebook post.

The video concludes with a man running up and shoving the man with a knife away while wearing a Niners jersey.

This season’s fights involving 49ers supporters are not new. A fight broke out between two supporters in the Levi’s Stadium stands during the Broncos game. Both were thrown out.
