“Probably Can’t Even F**king Understand What They’re Putting in Front of Him”- Jorge Masvidal Slams ‘Diva’ Nate Diaz for Sitting on the Sidelines and Not Fighting

Nate Diaz has been on the sidelines ever since his fight against Leon Edwards at UFC 263. Diaz has tried to get a fight booked against the likes of Dustin Poirier and even Khamzat Chimaev, but the UFC has not obliged. The younger Diaz brother has one fight left on his current, which he would like to finish as soon as possible so as to focus on opportunities outside of fighting and the UFC.

In a recent interview with Ariel Helwani, former opponent Jorge Masvidal shared his thoughts on Diaz’s current situation in the UFC and what he made of it. He said, “I think, he’s got too much CTE probably can’t even f**king understand what they’re putting in front of him. I usually don’t take the UFC’s side for much things. But from what I have heard and seen, this guy is just a f**king diva bro just f**king fight. I could sign him off in his last fight if he wants all that s**t talking he has been doing lately.”

‘Gamebred’ continued, “I would not mind breaking his jaw and sending him off to whatever gambling casino he is going to be fighting at. But he won’t sign when my name gets brought up again goes ghost on Hunter, goes ghost on all the matchmakers for a couple of weeks when my name gets brought up. And if he is hearing this and then he is going to make a little stupid tweet, and he is going to do the whole fucking thing b**ch just sign the paper and let’s just go fight man.”

Nate Diaz vs Jorge Masvidal the fight to make?

It is very evident that the UFC is keeping Diaz on the sidelines because they have bigger plans for him. The common consensus is that the UFC wants Diaz to fight McGregor later this year which will be the last fight of his contract.

Conor McGregor

If that is the case, Masvidal will have to look elsewhere for his next opponent. He has stated that he would like to fight Gilbert Burns which would be an excellent fight to make.
