Possible Busts in 2022 Fantasy Football : Do Not Draft list of top overrated players

Most fantasy football veterans have their own set plans in choosing certain players. This includes identifying players that might not produce favorable fantasy points in the upcoming season. Whether it’s because of injuries, key players missing from rosters, or simple decline in productivity, here’s some players that might be possible busts in 2022 fantasy football:

Kyler Murray

The Cardinals are going to be missing Deandre Hopkins for six games, which is already a hit on Murray’s completion and throwing numbers. In addition, he’s not set to stop running anytime soon, because it’s his best weapon. It’ll be hard for Murray to generate points considering this combination of factors.

Russell Wilson

After Wilson’s recovery from injury on his last season with the Seahawks, his production declined. Going onto a new team, he’s most likely going to be unsure about his targets, and the Broncos have better running back game compared to receivers and tight ends deep down the field.

Saquon Barkley

Barkley’s main concern is his durability. His promise to be a great player has been hindered so much by injury, it’s hard to invest in him when you can choose other players that have proven themselves in the past years.

J.K. Dobbins

Dobbins is part of a rush-happy Ravens offense, but there’s many ways his numbers could be cut. Lamar Jackson is known to be a rusher, which can cut into Dobbins’ numbers. In addition, he will most likely not see much production on the receiving end.

D.K. Metcalf

There’s nothing particularly wrong with Metcalf himself, but his QB in Drew Lock, who has been nowhere near as great as Wilson. Lock’s only competition is Geno Smith, not exactly the star QB replacement. The Seahawks’ receivers might see less fantasy numbers in general.

Tyreek Hill

Again, Hill is a great player around players not as great as what they’re used to. Tagovailoa is a step down from Mahomes, and the Dolphins have more experience and connection with Jaylen Waddle, meaning Hill will experience a possible drop in numbers.

Darren Waller

Raiders’ Derek Carr threw more to Hunter Renfrow last season. Waller’s share percentage is sure to drop even more because the Raiders got Davante Adams, arguably one of the best wide receivers currently in the game. While Carr’s college connection with Adams shouldn’t be the main concern, the fact that there’s a better catcher makes Waller a bad pick.
