Post Lions Win Against Bucs, Fans Brought Back Legendary Dan Campbell Moments

Here, it has long felt like an unreachable dream, but never to Campbell, and the Lions are one victory away from that. The team’s playoff campaigns, loud chants, and 31-23 victory against Tampa Bay to advance to the NFC title game were expected outcomes of the preparation, work, and culture he pledged to implement.

Over the past three years, NFL fans have been reliving some of Campbell’s iconic moments, while I was busy enjoying the biggest NFL triumph of my life.

The man who, when the Lions employed him, was made fun of and ridiculed for lacking common sense has certainly altered the perception of him.

“I envisioned we would have a chance to compete with the big boys, and that’s where we are at,” he said.

It took more than simply catchphrases for Campbell and general manager Brad Holmes to instill an attitude. They experienced it. They demonstrated it. The guys that were returning already showed it, so they deliberately constructed around them.

Four quarters remain till the Lions play in the Super Bowl. The videos are fantastic because of how much the perception has changed, which is astounding.
