Post Injury Anthony Richardson Considering Not Playing This Season?

Anthony Richardson, a rookie quarterback for the Indianapolis Colts, was allegedly diagnosed with a Grade 3 AC sprain last week and put on injured reserve as a result. Richardson sustained the injury during the final Week 5 victory over the Tennessee Titans. Richardson’s rookie season could be gone even though he was anticipated to miss a minimum of four games.

Post Injury Anthony Richardson Considering Not Playing This Season?

NFL Media claims that he is “strongly” debating having surgery on his right shoulder to finish the season. According to reports, Richardson sought advice from four to five doctors on his damaged shoulder, and one of those doctors recommended that Richardson undergo treatment to allow his injury to completely recover. Richardson had a throwing shoulder injury, which is important to note.

During the first half of the Colts’ 23-16 victory over the Tennessee Titans, he was tackled on a planned run play and fell forcefully on his right shoulder. For the foreseeable future, Gardner Minshew will start at quarterback for Indianapolis.

Richardson has endured a number of injuries so far this year. The former Florida standout has to improve his self-defence, but he has displayed glimpses of significant playmaking potential.

The No. 4 overall choice from Florida played in four games, completing 59.5% of his passes for 577 yards, three touchdowns, and one interception. He also ran for 136 yards and four more scores. In each of his first three games, he made history by becoming the first quarterback to ever dash for a touchdown.

However, there is a broad consensus that surgery is the appropriate course of action given the kind of injuries Richardson sustained. As a result, the topic of how to fully restore Richardson has received a lot of attention, which led to the idea for this proposed technique.
