Post-Game Bengals Coach Zac Taylor Gives ‘Game Ball’ To A Cincinnati Bar
Following a thrilling victory over the Baltimore Ravens, Bengals head coach Zac Taylor followed a postseason tradition by visiting a club in Cincinnati and handing out game balls to supporters.
Following the Bengals’ 24-17 victory against their division rivals on Sunday night, the fourth-year play caller turned up at The Blind Pig, which is direct across from Paycor Stadium. The fans were obviously ecstatic to have him join their celebration.
Even the audience members were thanked by Taylor for their ongoing patronage.

One of six commemorative balls that were released throughout Greater Cincinnati was the one that Taylor dropped off. Vonn Bell, a Bengals safety, gave a ball to Crowley’s Irish Pub in Cincinnati’s Mt. Adams neighbourhood.

Cincinnati hadn’t seen playoff success until last season. Taylor established the custom as a way of saying thanks to the neighbourhood supporters after the Bengals defeated the Las Vegas Raiders in the wild-card round. After the team’s first postseason victory in 31 years, he was seen leaving the stadium and entering Mt. Lookout Tavern, where he delivered a speech and handed out game balls.

Following the team’s triumph over Baltimore, which was the first time in the history of the franchise that the playoffs were won in back-to-back seasons, Taylor repeated the custom this year.
“That tradition is never going to die,” Taylor said after the game.
