Pittsburgh Steelers’ Najee Harris RB: NFL Fantasy Data & Stats Speculations 2022

Player Outlook

Najee Harris had a remarkable first season. In addition to being targeted more than 90 times in the passing game, he ran the ball more than 300 times. The Pittsburgh Steelers veteran quarterback Ben Roethlisberger announced his retirement, and the following season would feature a new-look offense.

Harris will continue to be the starting running back, which is fantastic news because he should have a successful season. In addition to 74 receptions for 467 yards and three touchdowns, Harris concluded his rookie season with 1,200 running yards and seven scores.

He was chosen as a backup for the Pro Bowl in 2022, taking the place of Bengals running back Joe Mixon. As the offensive unit’s most gifted player, Harris will probably be the center of offensive coordinator Matt Canada’s game plan. The best-case scenario for Harris is that he doesn’t see a significant decline as a result of his participation in the passing game.

Given the uncertainty surrounding the Steelers’ quarterback in 2022, Harris should improve on his stellar performance from the previous year. Given the possibility of inconsistency at the offensive center, Harris may be forced to bear a heavier offensive burden, which might boost his fantasy value.

Based on his success in 2021, Harris is unquestionably the best running back going into the 2022 season. How high Harris may rank on selection boards appears to be the big question.
