Philadelphia Eagles Super Bowl Odds for 2022-23 NFL Season

The 2017–2018 NFL season was the Philadelphia Eagles‘ greatest moment as a team. Yes, the Eagles defeated the New England Patriots in Super Bowl LII roughly four years ago, but that victory seems like a lifetime ago now.

Will the Eagles’ supposedly second-easiest schedule this season be enough to elevate them to Super Bowl 57 contention? It’s difficult for fans to predict the future with so many new Eagles players on the roster. However, with the publication of the 2022 NFL schedule, the oddsmakers appeared to be more certain than ever about their forecasts.

Philadelphia Eagles Analysis – What makes the Eagles challengers?

Since winning the Super Bowl four years ago, the Philadelphia Eagles have had another NFC East victory in 2019, a last-place finish in 2020, and a strong turnaround season to make the playoffs once again last season under new head coach Nick Sirianni. Even if the Eagles continued where they left off—winning 6 of their last 8 games following a 3-6 start—they should have a shot at making the playoffs once more.

Following a 4-11-1 season that resulted in the firing of Super Bowl champion head coach Doug Pederson, the Eagles made significant progress under inexperienced head coach Nick Sirianni. The team only won two of its first seven games (against the Falcons and Panthers), and after losing to the Chargers in their first game of November, they appeared to be practically out of the playoff picture at 3-6. However, things were going in the right way, and a run of six victories in seven games (including a defeat to the Giants) put them squarely in the running for the playoffs in the NFC East’s weak division.

Despite losing to Dallas in Week 18, they entered the playoffs with a 9-8 record, but they were routed by the Buccaneers in the wild-card round. While wide receiver DeVonta Smith, a young star who had 916 receiving yards during the regular season, was added to the roster, QB Jalen Hurts performed just enough to maintain his job but not enough to persuade anybody that he would be the long-term solution.

The Eagles are a well-liked club, but this summer, after bringing in players like Brown, Bradberry, Haason Reddick, and Kyzir White, as well as adding what seems to be a potent draft class, they also became highly well-liked among bettors.

Super Bowl 57 Odds +3000
NFC Winner Odds +1275

It’s simple to understand why so many gamblers are bullish on the Eagles when you consider all of that, a club that won nine games with a new coaching staff and first-year starting quarterback, and a squad that has one of the easiest schedules on paper in 2022.
