Paulina Gretzky’s Royal Liverpool was short as Dustin Johnson played a disastrous game
Despite her brief stay, Paulina Gretzky, wife of Dustin Johnson, has arrived at Royal Liverpool.
The daughter of hockey great Wayne Gretzky posted a selfie from the 151st Open Championship, where her husband Dustin Johnson is competing, on her Instagram Stories on Thursday.
The 34-year-old Gretzky finished off her ensemble with a white beanie that appeared to have ‘River’ printed across the front while wearing a white long-sleeve crop top and dark trousers.

Johnson started Thursday’s opening round by shooting 3-over par for a total of 74. Johnson tied for 10th place at the U.S. Open last month.
He then shot a dismal 81 on Friday, which drops him to near the bottom of the leaderboard and ensures he won’t make the cut in the final major of the year.

In 2011, he tied for second place, which was his best performance at the British Open.
The current leader is American Brian Harman at 10-under, followed by Englishman Tommy Fleetwood at 5-under and Frenchman Antoine Rozner at 4-under.
Johnson has had a tonne of success on the course this year despite a lackluster showing at The Open.

The former Masters champion, who joined the LIV Golf circuit in his second season after leaving the PGA Tour last summer, won the team competition at the circuit’s most recent competition, which took place in London this past month.
The 4 Aces GC team, which also includes Pat Perez, Patrick Reed, and Peter Uihlein, is captained by Johnson.
He joined the rogue league for “around” $125 million, and after joining, he made over $35 million in winnings the previous year.

Following last month’s shocking announcement of a planned merger between LIV and the PGA Tour, Johnson, who wed Gretzky in April, reportedly said he is “happy exactly” where he is.
“I think with this agreement, the only thing that’s going to happen is LIV is going to get even better than what it is now, which it’s already great,” Sports Illustrated quotes Johnson as having said this in June.
“I’m happy exactly where I am, and I’m definitely not looking to play more golf than I’m playing now, that’s for sure.”
