Paul Skenes, the Rumored Boyfriend of Olivia Dunne, Impressed Everyone In His Debut. Olivia’s Presence At The Game Fueled Their Romance Rumors.
Olivia Dunne reportedly watched her rumored boyfriend’s Single-A debut from the front row.
At LECOM Park in Bradenton, Florida, on Tuesday, the top selection in the 2023 MLB Draft, Paul Skenes, pitched for the Bradenton Marauders, a Single-A affiliate of the Pittsburgh Pirates, with the star LSU gymnast in attendance, according to TMZ.
Dunne, 20, even posted “Go baseball!” on her Instagram Stories on Tuesday.
With the figures he detected with the radar gun, Skenes had everyone talking.
On Tuesday, he tossed one inning, recording two strikeouts while touching 100 mph with his fastball.

In his second game since assisting LSU in winning the College World Series in June, Skenes threw 16 pitches, 11 of which were strikes.
“It’s getting back on the mound after a month-and-a-half off. I’ve been throwing the whole time, but you can’t replace the adrenaline and the fans and with a hitter in the box,” Paul said, according to MLB.com.
“You can’t replace that in the bullpen, so sometimes you don’t know exactly what you’re going to get just because your body moves different. Your body moves faster when there are those factors in there. So I was really happy with my ability to command it today, especially for it being so early.”

The Single-A Lakeland Flying Tigers took on theSkenes, a member of the Detroit Tigers, tried to mix in some of his offspeed pitches.
“It’s not going to be 101 every outing,” Skenes said. “The thing I look for is just maintaining the velocity.
“If you have a well-spotted fastball at 96 [mph] or whatever, it’s going to work too. Velocity, it’s a tool, it helps you get away with some stuff. It’s a really good tool to have, but it’s not the end-all, be-all by any means, because a well-executed fastball at whatever velocity is the best pitch in baseball, I think.”

Sunday’s game against the Flying Tigers in Bradenton is Skenes’ next scheduled appearance.
Jonathan Mayo of MLB.com says that Skenes will likely pitch two innings.
Dunne’s participation is unknown at this time.
When Dunne tweeted a selfie of herself sporting a Pirates hat while visiting Bradenton late last month, romance rumors between the two were first ignited.

The baseball glove on the table in Dunne’s image resembled the Marucci black glove Skenes wore at LSU, according to several online detectives.
Dunne and Skenes have not yet commented on the rumors of romance.
