Patriots QB Mac Jones Yells At Their Offensive Coordinator Matt Patricia For Second Straight Week

Mac Jones, the quarterback for the New England Patriots, yelled at offensive coordinator Matt Patricia on Monday Night Football versus the Arizona Cardinals.

The Patriots quarterback was upset with his offensive coordinator during his team’s loss to the Bills last week, and that anger continued into this past Monday night. After a timeout was called because it seemed like the plays were taking too long to reach the quarterback, Jones was seen yelling an emphatic F-bomb while looking at Patricia.

After a stoppage, Jones, 24, waved Patricia off and appeared to tell him to “F—k off.” At this point, Mac Jones was already cursing at the OC and rolling his eyes in frustration.

It’s uncertain how Patricia responded, but if New England is to make the NFL playoffs, head coach Bill Belichick needs to mend the team’s fractured relationship.

It’s one thing for Brady, 45, to rage at his teammates and coaches because he has earned the right to do so via years of excellence.

Jones, on the other hand, must seize every opportunity to pick the brains of his superiors and stop copying Brady until he does something significant himself.

Mac Jones completed 24-of-35 passes for 235 yards and a pick in the 27-13 victory. Jakobi Meyers and DeVante Parker, the Patriots’ top two wide receivers, along with running back Rhamondre Stevenson were hurt during the game.

When questioned about his frustration with the offence following the game, the 24-year-old praised Patricia’s play-calling.

“No. The most important thing is to not let that affect my performance and to get the best out of my guys, according to Jones. We all did a good job today attempting to play the next play and the next series, and Matt did a fantastic job. He’s attempting to make a call so that we can win the game.

“Occasionally, it might be a tactic like the rapid passes for whatever reason that people aren’t aware of, and that’s our game plan. He called a fantastic game and maintained his composure, and we knew what we had to do to win. He is a mellow, stoic individual. We’ll just keep developing as a team and try to win games as much as we can.

Things seemed to simmer down after the game when Mac Jones and Patricia were seen smiling and hugging on the sidelines.
