Patriots HC Bill Belichick Hated The Bengals Touchdown Celebrations
Bill Belichick is upset that Cincinnati gave New England a huge lump of coal this afternoon. The sad loss to the Cincinnati Bengals has decreased the New England Patriots chances of making the playoffs.
Following a 9-yard touchdown throw from Joe Burrow to Tee Higgins, the Bengals lead the Patriots 6-0. 78 yards were covered in 5 plays by Cincinnati. 73 yards on 4 of 4 for Burrow. A Bengals franchise record, it’s his 22nd straight game with a passing touchdown.

In the first half, the Bengals had no trouble moving the ball and scoring points, and their defence limited the Patriots’ offence to 0 points. The score was 22-0 as the first half ended. Since they were the team who came out strong in a game that had to be won, the New England team’s dismal performance stunned their fans. Even the head coach of the Pats, Bill Belichick, was appalled to watch his squad being mistreated and dismantled.

Following Joe Burrow’s second touchdown pass, the Bengals danced in celebration, which must have enraged Belichick even more. The experienced HC was heard saying, “What the f**k!” on sideline cameras. The phrase essentially captures the entire Patriots’ campaign. The Patriots put up a great fight in the second half, scoring 18 straight points, but they ultimately fell short in the most 2022 Patriots-like manner.

Uncertainty exists around whether Belichick was more irate with the Bengals’ holiday dancing or their pass defence. Most likely, it was a mix of the two. The opening quarter of the game saw no defence from New England, which allowed Burrow to toss touchdown passes to both Irwin and Tee Higgins.

However, it’s also possible that Bill Belichick’s f-bomb was a result of a mix of Irwin’s dancing, Burrow’s achievement, and his own team’s ongoing struggles.
The punter for the Patriots managed a bah-humbug moment in between Burrow hits, which had to irritate Belichick.
