Thursday night’s Chiefs-Lions game was immediately followed by the announcement of Joe Burrow’s record-breaking contract extension with the Cincinnati Bengals.

Mahomes is +600 to retain his MVP prize, while Burrow is second in the odds list on +750. Tough competition for MVP 2023!
Burrow spoke at a conference at Paycor Stadium to convey his happiness at getting the job:
“This is where I want to be. This is where I want to be my whole career. We have great people in the locker room that grind every day, that are excited to go and showcase their talents and to go and do it in the city of Cincinnati. We have the best fans and so this is where I want to be.”

“I mean, we’re going to see how these next couple of days play out, because you never know with these things, but I’m expecting to play.”
