Olivia Dunne attended and celebrated LSU’s victory in College World Series final and captioned “Oh my goooodness geaux tigahs!!!!” on her video
Thursday’s dramatic victory by LSU against Wake Forest to progress to the College World Series championship was witnessed by Olivia Dunne in person.
The renowned LSU gymnast captured the moment the Tigers’ men’s baseball team rushed Charles Schwab Field in Omaha following Tommy White’s walk-off home run in the 11th inning to seal the 2-0 victory on Instagram Stories.
“Oh my goooodness geaux tigahs!!!!” Olivia wrote the caption on a video in her story.
In the best-of-three national championship series, LSU’s next opponent will be Florida, an SEC rival.
Throughout the week, Dunne, 20, has been cheering for her beloved Tigers, and on Thursday, in anticipation of their victory, she shared a selfie featuring LSU.

In the photo, which she posted on her Instagram Stories, Dunne is posing in a pair of denim cutoffs and a Tigers T-shirt.
Dunne has had a great summer so far because she recently visited Italy after her junior year at LSU.
She flew to Florida earlier to mark the publication of Sports Illustrated Swimsuit, her debut issue, in 2023.

Earlier this week, Dunne recalled how she felt when she first learned that she would be appearing in the Sports Illustrated Swimsuit issue.
“It was surreal,” Dunne said to Hurrdat Sports. “I got off the phone and I screamed immediately, and I called my mom and I was in disbelief.”
Olivia Dunne traveled to Puerto Rico in January for the scenic shot; she only had one day off because the filming was timed to coincide with the beginning of her gymnastics season.

Dunne is still in awe that her Sports Illustrated fantasy came true, despite the fact that the shoot happened quickly.
“The way that the [SI Swimsuit] brand has evolved and has become such a positive spotlight for women to tell their stories and to spread awesome messages and just be strong, sexy and beautiful, I knew that was something I wanted to be part of,” Dunne told the outlet.

Here’s a skill I had planned to debut at nationals! It was submitted and given an “E” value. Here’s what would have been the “Dunne” 🙁 pic.twitter.com/GgkdMdKTEv

Dunne, the highest-paid female athlete in the NCAA with a NIL valuation of $3.4 million, wants to encourage people to follow their passions.
“I want to show young girls that you can have it all, and you don’t need to choose between whatever it is you’re passionate about,” she said. “You can be passionate about music, art. You don’t need to pick and choose. You can do it all and be successful. I think you need to set your own expectations for success and dream big.”
