Olivia Culpo captures the excitement as Luke McCaffrey is drafted by Washington Commanders
Luke McCaffrey, the younger brother of Christian McCaffrey’s fiancé, was chosen in the NFL Draft, and Olivia Culpo has released some behind-the-scenes video of the event.
The Washington Commanders selected Luke, a wide receiver out of Rice, at the conclusion of Friday night’s third round.
Ed McCaffrey, a three-time Super Bowl winner and former standout wide receiver, is the son of Christian McCaffrey, the star running back for the San Francisco 49ers, who was selected with the 100th overall choice.

Also, Culpo posted a video of him on Instagram right after he found out he would be joining the Commanders and his brother in the NFL.
As he tells his assembled friends and family that he has been chosen, Luke concludes a phone call with the Commander’s executives in the video.

Wide receiver Luke McCaffrey plays for the Washington Commanders of the National Football League (NFL). He was chosen by the Commanders in the third round of the 2024 NFL draft after playing collegiate football for the Nebraska Cornhuskers and Rice Owls. He is Max and Christian’s younger brother and the son of Ed McCaffrey.

Christian, his older brother, is a running back with the San Francisco 49ers in the National Football League right now.
Another brother, Dylan, started at quarterback for Northern Colorado after attending Michigan for his undergraduate career. Another brother, Max, was a wide receiver at Duke and in the NFL for multiple clubs.
