Without Kevin Durant and Simmons on the court, the 76ers started the final quarter on an 11-5 surge and never looked back in a 30-point quarter. The Nets appeared to be a squad that was still getting its bearings. Kevin Durant has been a constant, but Irving served an eight-game suspension, while Simmons is still regaining his strength and self-assurance after missing all of last season due to injury and summer surgery.
