This week, Nick Saban, the head coach of Alabama, has been making headlines on social media over a recent auto dealership transaction. In terms of NIL, the Crimson Tide leader is, at least in the opinion of college football fans, thinking beyond the box.

Seven-time national champion and highest-paid college football coach Nick Saban is also the owner of several profitable businesses.
In addition to having a share in Dream Motor Group, Saban co-owns a Mercedes dealership. Joe Agresti and Saban Agresti own the dealership, which is located in Birmingham, Alabama. Nick co-owns Mercedes dealerships in Irondale, Hoove, Alabama, and Nashville, Tennessee, in addition to this one.

The headline on Automotive News this week read, “Nick Saban’s Dream Motor Group buys Mercedes-Benz stores in $700M deal,” referring to two dealerships in Florida that the head coach had earlier this year purchased.
The Dream Motors Group, of whom Saban is a part owner, now has two more facilities in addition to its previous locations in Alabama, Louisiana, Tennessee, and Texas.
