NFL Week 3 TV Coverage Map: Early Games, Afternoon Games & The Best Ones To Watch

Week 3 of the NFL season has arrived, and it promises to be an exciting one. Unlike the first two weeks of the season, when there seemed to be exciting games everywhere, there isn’t a clear must-see game on the schedule based on what we’ve seen so far.

There are still plenty of storylines to watch, including as a massive Jets-Patriots game at 1:00 and a desperate game between the Vikings and Chargers to avoid going 0-3 in the season, but what games will be accessible in your area? View this week’s NFL TV coverage maps.

NFL TV Coverage Map Week 3: Early games

NFL broadcast map: CBS early games Week 3

Color Matchup Channel Time Broadcasters
BROWN Titans @ Browns CBS 1:00 PM ET Spero Dedes, Adam Archuleta
GREEN Broncos @ Dolphins CBS 1:00 PM ET Kevin Harlan, Trent Green
RED Patriots @ Jets CBS 1:00 PM ET Jim Nantz, Tony Romo
YELLOW Bills @ Commanders CBS 1:00 PM ET Andrew Catalon, Matt Ryan, Tiki Barber
TEAL Colts @ Ravens CBS 1:00 PM ET Beth Mowins, James Lofton, Jay Feely

CBS’ singleheader week doesn’t appear promising because it doesn’t include any games involving two winning teams. The Jets will be followed by Jim Nantz and Tony Romo for a second week as their AFC East clash against the 0-2 Patriots is the de facto lead game.

NFL TV map Week 3: FOX early window

Atlanta Falcons (2-0) at Detroit Lions (1-1) (Red): Adam Amin, Mark Schlereth
New Orleans Saints (2-0) at Green Bay Packers (1-1) (Blue): Kenny Albert, Jonathan Vilma
Los Angeles Chargers (0-2) at Minnesota Vikings (0-2) (Green): Kevin Kugler, Mark Sanchez
Houston Texans (0-2) at Jacksonville Jaguars (1-1) (Yellow): Chris Myers, Robert Smith

This week, FOX has a doubleheader and will broadcast the Saints-Packers game to the majority of the country. The other three games will only be played in regional regions of interest.

PURPLE Panthers @ Seahawks CBS 4:05 PM Ian Eagle, Charles Davis

Color Matchup Channel Time Broadcasters
RED Bears @ Chiefs FOX 4:25 PM ET Kevin Burkhardt, Greg Olsen
BLUE Cowboys @ Cardinals FOX 4:25 PM ET Joe Davis, Daryl Johnston

The Bears’ early problems have diminished the significance of America’s Game of the Week, which will send FOX’s A-crew to Kansas City to watch them play the Chiefs. The second game in this timeframe is Dallas-Arizona, which isn’t a good bet because both games have spreads of at least 12 points.
