However, Patriots supporters didn’t have to go very far to relive one of the best games in league history, in case any of the finer points of that championship game back in February 2017 are beginning to fade.
The NFL’s official Twitter account broke up the monotony by posting the ENTIRE Super Bowl LI game for anyone to watch this drove Falcons fans crazy as if all the memes being created for 6 years were not enough.
The NFL deleted their Patriot/Falcons Super Bowl tweet, so here’s some highlights of the game. 🏆

Yes, Super Bowl LI, in which Tom Brady and the New England Patriots overcame a 28-3 hole to win 34-28 in overtime, was the clip the league decided to post. Fans of the Falcons were furiously angry.
This afternoon, the NFL tweeted the entire 2-hour Patriots’ Super Bowl LI 28-3 comeback win over the Falcons.

For Falcons supporters, that will always be a sad memory. They were ahead 21-0 with a minute remaining in the first half, 21-3 at the break, and 28-3 with two minutes left in the third. To tie it, the Patriots scored 25 straight points. James White’s one-yard touchdown run cut the deficit to two with 57 seconds left in the game, and Tom Brady’s toss to Danny Amendola for the two-point conversion knotted it. On a two-yard touchdown run with 11:02 left in overtime, they prevailed.

Although it wasn’t the greatest comeback in terms of numbers in NFL history, when you think about the moment, it is without a doubt the best comeback ever.
The #Patriots hilariously troll the Falcons (again) with their first post on Threads https://t.co/bBJpsnRA8j

The NFL cleansed the website and erased the tweet a few hours after it was posted. It was unclear right away why the NFL decided to remove the footage.
Not the Falcons and Patriots😂😂😂 the city is still traumatized.. Please spare us the relived sorrow of the past

Both Patriots and Falcons supporters experienced the full range of emotions on social media before the NFL removed the footage.
Falcons supporters have endured many 28-3 jokes for years. Now, the NFL’s official Twitter account is dunking on them.

One of the players from the losing team appeared on Good Morning Football six years later. The presenters questioned Grady Jarrett six years later about his thoughts on the meme. He initially attempted to respond in a political manner by outlining all sides of the issue, but ultimately collapsed into a fit of laughing.
“It definitely bothers you, but they got to come up with something. It’s getting old, man.”
