NFL Team Official Is Calling Out Troy Vincent For Mismanaging Damar Hamlin Incident
In the opening frame of the Week 17 game between the Buffalo Bills and Cincinnati Bengals, Damar Hamlin passed out. On the field, Bills’ safety received medical assistance, including performing CPR there.
Later, an ambulance at Cincinnati’s Paycor Stadium arrived on the field, transporting Hamlin to the adjacent University of Cincinnati Medical Center.
Then Troy Vincent needs to explain this, because Joe Buck is as good as it gets and I find it highly unlikely he would be shooting from the hip here. He literally says the five minute warm up was explained to him by the league and the officials downstairs pic.twitter.com/p58mVpLmgl https://t.co/cmzty7TBwq

After Hamlin’s incident, players were instructed they had five minutes to rewarm up. An official from the organisation placed the responsibility on NFL Executive Vice President of Football Operations Troy Vincent, who was present at the time at the league’s command centre.
The official said:
“The league screws this s— up because Troy Vincent screws this stuff up,” said official. “That’s the wrong person in the wrong position at the absolute wrong time … He wants to be the hero, but he will never take accountability. That’s him to a T.”

Vincent denied saying that he ordered the players to resume warming up. He talked during a conference call a few hours after the Bengals-Bills game was postponed.
Troy Vincent said:
“And I was the one … that was communicating with the commissioner. We never, frankly, it never crossed our mind to talk about warming up to resume play. That’s ridiculous. That’s insensitive, and that’s not a place that we should ever be in.”
The impact of Damar Hamlin's injury has been so incredible. It's brought out the best in us. I see so much kindness/sympathy/compassion. The most amazing thing to witness is our collective dependence on God. We were hurt/lost & immediately turned to Him. How powerful is our God! pic.twitter.com/UYKFULKGex

The stories of coaches, players, union officials, and team executives contradict NFL officials’ claims that they never sought to restart the game. On that Monday night, the players decided to call time out.
Let me be clear. Troy Vincent is a HORRIBLE influence on professional football. He's the king of racial idolatry, partnering with the woke. But it's silly to blame him for the Monday night chaos and never mention ESPN's financial incentive to delay cancelation of the game.
