NFL quarterback for the San Francisco 49ers named Brock Purdy plays American football. He played collegiate football for Iowa State University, where he was known as Mr. Relevant. The 49ers selected him with the last pick in the 2022 NFL Draft, making him Mr. Irrelevant. Injuries to starting quarterbacks Jimmy Garoppolo and Trey Lance forced Purdy into the starting position after being named the third-string quarterback to begin his rookie season.

He contributed to the team’s ten-game winning streak, which helped the 49ers win the division and advance to the NFC Championship Game. He was one of just five rookie quarterbacks to start in a conference championship game.
