NFL Revenge Games 2022

The idea of the “Revenge game,” in which players attempt to convince their former teams that benching them was a severe error, or in which teams seek some form of retaliation for outcomes that endanger the season, is at best hazy. Sometimes a player will take it out on the team that dismissed him as unimportant in the larger scheme of things, and that team will pay for it in subsequent games.

However, there are just as many instances where players or teams become preoccupied with getting even and neglect to play winning football. Therefore, keep in mind that things don’t always go the way of the dragon when we examine the most compelling potential revenge games of the 2022 NFL season n.

Here are the most intriguing potential Revenge games for the 2022 NFL season-

1) Kansas City Chiefs VS Tampa Bay Buccaneers

Sunday Night Football matchup in Week 4 features Tom Brady’s Buccaneers vs Patrick Mahomes’ Chiefs. Mahomes’ performance in the previous match between these two teams did not go well. The Buccaneers won their second Super Bowl LV on February 7, 2021, with a 31-9 score because of Todd Bowles’ defence, which put Mahomes through the wringer.

Bruce Arians have been replaced as head coach of the Tampa Bay Buccaneers by Todd Bowles, but other than that, little has changed for the Bucs. Although the Chiefs are overhauling both their offence and defence without Tyreek Hill and Tyrann Mathieu, not many people would categorically deny that this is a Super Bowl preview.

2) Los Angeles Rams VS Arizona Cardinals

Another divisional matchup with a little more oomph. Kliff Kingsbury and Kyler Murray were defeated in a boat race by Sean McVay and Matthew Stafford in the 2021 Wild Card Round, giving Los Angeles 10 victories over Arizona in their previous 11 meetings.

Therefore, the Cardinals will have a greater stake in the first of these teams’ two games than the Rams, who will always receive the team’s best effort.

3) Buffalo Bills vs Kansas City Chiefs

Dreams of the Bills Mafia are put to rest at Arrowhead Stadium.

Buffalo’s Super Bowl aspirations have been dashed twice in as many years by the Chiefs, who defeated the Bills 42-36 in overtime in the Divisional Round back in January and then defeated them 38-24 in the 2020 AFC Championship Game.

In order to defeat the Chiefs, the Bills loaded up in the offseason by hiring pass rusher Von Miller and selecting Kaiir Elam in the first round. If they don’t complete it this year, especially against a weaker K.C. roster — they may never will.

4) Eagles vs Titans

The 24-year-old was traded before the end of his rookie contract because the Titans didn’t want to pay Brown a significant extension fee. The Eagles, who were prepared to offer Brown a four-year, $100 million contract, proved to be an aggressive taker for them. Brown had hinted at huge things while playing in Tennessee, and he will now have the opportunity to deliver as Hurts’ new genuine go-to man opposite 2021 first-round pick DeVonta Smith.

To show the Titan’s secondary what they’re missing, Brown will try to roast them with huge plays against a defence he is familiar with. Additionally, he’ll be driven to outperform Treylon Burks, his first-round replacement rookie.

5) Pittsburgh Steelers vs Miami Dolphins

The Brian Flores Bowl is the event. Let’s just say that before the game, Stephen Ross or Chris Grier won’t be receiving any warm welcomes from Flores.

Both sides have terrible blood. Flores undoubtedly harbours resentment toward Ross for firing him following consecutive victorious seasons. The NFL has been rocked by a federal racial discrimination case, and Ross has spent the previous two months labelling Flores a liar after his former HC accused him of giving bribes to lose games.
