NFL Players Entering Make Or Break Seasons
The NFL is a tough industry and some times it can get the best of players, her are some players that really need to prove their worth to their respected organizations, in this upcoming 2023 NFL season:
1.) Jerry Jeudy
Aside from Henry Ruggs who ended up getting arrested, Jalen Reagor, and Jerry Jeudy, the 2020 NFL Draft WR class was is absolutely killing it in the NFL. Brandon Aiyuk is one of the best route runners in the league, Justin Jefferson won offensive player of the year in 2022, and Ceedee Lamb is a top 10 WR in the league. Most NFL fans have given up any hope on Jalen Reagor, he has been a complete bust in Philly due to his inability to come down with the most simplistic passes. But Jeudy on the other hand; people are still very faithful that he will be a star in the league. In Jeudy’s first 2 years in the league he dealt with his fair share of injuries as well as having the worst starting QB in the league throwing the ball to him, Drew Lock. Last year, he was able to stay healthy for the most part and had a star QB with Russell Wilson, However he may have had the worst head coach the NFL has ever seen, Nathaniel Hackett. In 2023, he has had a major improvement in the coaching staff which will hopefully boost moral among the players, if Jeudy can stay healthy, as well as be productive under new head coach Sean Payton, he will definitely prove his worth to the Broncos organization. But if he still is in efficient, it may be time for the Denver Broncos to move on from him. This is a huge year for Jerry Jeudy and he has to prove what he is worth to the Broncos.

2.) Najee Harris
Like me, most people aren’t an advocate for taking a running back in the first round of the NFL draft. But that is exactly what the Pittsburgh Steelers did when they drafted Najee Harris out of Alabama in the 21st overall pick in the 2021 NFL Draft. Harris has the skill set to be one of the best running back in the league, impossible to bring down, super athletic, but the production simply just hasn’t been there. We’ve all seen the way the running back market has been trending the last couple of months, if Harris wants to prove he is worthy of an extension to the Steelers then he hast to show up and show out this season. It is a new era and Pittsburgh new quarterback a brand new offensive line here is no reason why Najee Harris cannot succeed this season with his pure talent. There’s been a lot of pressure on Harris, in his rookie year he touched the ball more than any player across the league with 307 carries, he rushed for 1200 yards. In his sophomore year he touch the ball 272 times with a little over 1000 yards. With a decreased workload due to the increasing amount of talent on offense, Najee Harris’s durability will increase causing hopefully more production. This is his junior year in the NFL and we expect a massive break out for him.

3.) Bijan Robinson
It may not be a ‘prove it” year for Bijan himself , but Robinson is the future of running backs in the NFL. We have seen the way the running back market has been trending and if anybody is able to fixing it, it is Bijan Robinson and his pure talent. Not too often are running backs selected in the top 10, let alone to teams that just previously had a rookie running back rush for 1000+ yards. Robinson is more than a running back he is an elite route runner for his size. Bijan Robinson is going to be utilized in every single way possible in this falcons offense. If he can win all offensive rookie of the year and prove his wealth to the Falcons, it may be enough to prove the wealth of running backs to other GM’s across the NFL. Like Najee Harris, expect Robinson to get a boatload of carries during his rookie season
