NFL Network’s Kyle Brandt Found His Way To Flirt With Vanna White When His Wife Was In Audiences

NFL Network star Kyle Brandt wasted no time in expressing his adoration for Vanna White, his childhood obsession.

During his appearance on a charity broadcast of “Wheel of Fortune” on Wednesday night, Brandt faced up against comedian Roy Wood Jr. and actress Natasha Leggero. The sports media star couldn’t resist telling White, 66, about his childhood crush on her.

“Pat, I’m thrilled to meet you, but Vanna, let’s just put the cards on the table,” Brandt said. “I say this respectfully, you’re a TV legend, my wife is here, you were my boyhood crush. I love you. For many years of my life, you were the puzzle I wanted to solve. And I’m so thrilled to be here.

“Do you have any advice for me, Vanna? Because you control the board. I love you, Pat [Sajak], but, to me, this is a Vanna show.”

After her first astonishment and laughing, White handled the compliments in stride.

Even Sajak appeared a little taken aback by Brandt’s directness.

The “Good Morning Football” host did, however, offer some advice for White as he prepared to play.

“Wow. Well, thank you for those kind words,” White said. “Buy vowels, pretend like you’re in your own living room, not here. Just concentrate on the puzzle board. Not me, OK! Take me out of it, just think of the puzzle.”

By the end of the program, Brandt had won $169,500 for his preferred charity, proving that he had really done well.
