NFL Madden 24: Release Date, Trailer, Features Of The Game And Everything You Need To Know

Madden 24 inches from its scheduled launch, which is anticipated to occur in the middle of August. The wildly successful EA Sports video game brand has used this day as its yearly release date.

Many fans have been guessing about the newest version’s features, ratings, and other aspects, which has increased the excitement for it.

This August, John Madden’s Madden NFL 24 comes with yet another pledge to improve the wild action of 11-on-11 football while also making some big adjustments to its range of options.

“There’s a little bit of setup narrative through the timeline, but it’s really just about setting up the experience,” Dougan said. “But we now have tiered abilities, we now have real-time player grading, the stuff that you would expect in other sports games, the moment-to-moment feedback.”

It will more directly address players’ desires to perform as a lone, star performer (at all positions aside from offensive line or special teams), without storyline plot devices that frequently got in the way of the action they actually wanted to experience game to game.

Madden 24 release date

Date: August 18, 2023
A tentative release date for Madden 24 is August 18, 2023. That corresponds with the release dates of the first two Madden games, which were August 19 in 2022 and August 20 in 2021.

Having said that, Josh Allen was officially unveiled as the cover athlete for the most recent iteration of the game on June 7. Its trailer was also made public.

Madden 24 Trailer

EA Sports has released an official teaser for the forthcoming Madden 24 to heighten anticipation. Some of the best NFL players may be seen playing in the trailer. They most certainly wanted to create excitement, but it may have gone a little awry.

Many NFL supporters and sports gamers were upset by the trailer. Some of them attacked EA Sports on Reddit for what they claimed was their inability to get more people to purchase the next game.

Although the teaser lacked detailed gameplay footage, the video’s description included certain details you could have missed.

FieldSenseTM enhancements come first, but SAPIEN technology also looks to be a new factor. With updated animations, FieldSense, which debuted in Madden NFL 23, provides players more control over their tackling, catching, and passing techniques.

A more realistic, anatomically correct player construction is now possible thanks to the new SAPIEN technology. Players’ physical characteristics and movement patterns ought to be more true to life. When watching Eagles quarterback Jalen Hurts sprint out of the pocket, in particular, we have a peek of how this operates.

Madden 24 price

PS4, Xbox One, PC: TBD ($59.99 for standard edition in 2022)
PS5, Xbox Series S/X: TBD ($69.99 for standard edition in 2022)
While Madden 24’s costs have not yet been disclosed, it is anticipated that tiered pricing will continue, with PS5 and Xbox Series S/X customers paying a little bit more for the game.

Fans should keep an eye out for game special editions that can offer early access to gaming. For $99.99, Madden 23’s All-Madden version allows players to access the whole game three days before its official release. Similar to that, users might benefit from early access by purchasing Madden 22 MVP or Dynasty editions in 2021.

Madden 24 new features

The introduction of a few new features that fans can look forward to was also part of EA Sports’ announcement on June 7.

Leg-wrap tackles are among the several sorts of tackles that will be included in a new system that “highlights mismatches” in tackling.

Since passing has become “more fluid,” quarterbacks may now throw to receivers who are moving without losing momentum. Additionally, dive catching has been added back into the game, which has improved catching.

The ability to carry the ball has improved, according to EA, with players “more receptive to avoiding the defender.” Fumbles, meantime, have been improved to distinguish between recoveries in broad fields and recoveries where several players are vying for the ball to make the scenario more realistic.

You’re in luck if you have a copy of Madden NFL 24 on the next-generation consoles. Superstar Mode and mini-games are making their first appearance since Madden NFL 13 in this game. Due to its merger with franchise mode and online leagues, the mode had been missing.

In order to be admitted into the Pro Football Hall of Fame, you can control a single individual as opposed to a whole team. We can only hope that the cutscenes in Superstar mode will resemble those in titles like NBA 2K or the forthcoming F1 23’s Braking Point 2. Furthermore, it would be wonderful if this included things like pre- or post-game interviews.

500 additional plays have been added by EA to the 32 team playbooks.

While in Franchise Mode, 25 new mini games have been added while fifth-year options and more trade flexibility are also new additions.

The ball’s offensive and defensive sides have both improved. Contested Catch tackles and diving one-handed catches by receivers should make those deep throw scenarios more entertaining. The AI has also been given the following improvements:

QB awareness and behavior
Ball Carrier AI & Pathfinding
Blocking AI and open field targeting
Pass Coverage & DB Awareness
Post Play emotion

A form of sports lifestyle mode for the NFL was attempted, but it was unsuccessful since American football truly does not have the same level of rec-league, pickup engagement that sports like basketball or soccer do. Superstar Showdown, a three-on-three arcade-style game, will take its place in Madden NFL 24.

“It’s really about you, with two friends, getting together and playing some quick, fast-performing, avatar-based gameplay experiences as you build up your character,” Dougan said.
