NFL Fantasy Managers are Not Happy With Atlanta Falcons and Kyle Pitts Right Now

The second NFL season of Kyle Pitts is off to a sluggish start. The agile tight end only grabbed two of three targets for 19 yards in the Atlanta Falcons’ week 2 defeat to the Los Angeles Rams.

Kyle Pitts produced a similar output in Week 1 with two grabs for 19 yards. Over the first two games, the Falcons have done a fantastic job incorporating rookie receiver Drake London into their scheme; he has caught 13 catches for 160 yards.

During Sunday’s defeat to the Rams, he even caught his first touchdown pass. However, tight end Kyle Pitts, who was a phenomenon as a rookie a year ago, has not seen much action with the ball.

Kyle Pitts not producing enough for fantasy managers

Managers of fantasy football leagues are not pleased with the Atlanta Falcons at the moment. Through two weeks, Kyle Pitts hasn’t seen many targets, and some fantasy managers are wondering if this trend will continue over the remainder of the campaign.

Pitts had two receptions for 19 yards on seven targets in the season-opening defeat at New Orleans. In Sunday’s defeat to Los Angeles, he too had two catches for 19 yards, but this time there were only three targets for him. According to head coach Arthur Smith, the defense taking Pitts away plays a role in it.

“It’s not fantasy football. We’re just trying to win, and we’ll continue to look at everything and try to get better.”
