Deshaun Watson’s obtrusive presence and transactions over the past three years have dominated the scene. Meanwhile, they also lost top players like J.J. Watt. They changed coaches several times, but the performance didn’t improve.

In the previous two seasons, they each ended with 13 defeats. There was obviously a need for a change. DeMeco Ryans, a former All-Star player, taking over as coach ought to help that recovery get going.

Additionally, they had a strong draft, taking the second and third choices. If everything works out, they should be able to use C.J. Stroud as their quarterback in the future.
