NFL 2022: Bye Week Schedule By Team
During the course of the season, each team is allotted one week during which they do not play any games. Any time a team has a bye week, it is known as a bye week. Between weeks four and twelve, each team has one off week. In order to stretch the 17-game regular season schedule across 18 weeks and increase the amount of games that may be viewed for TV contracts, the NFL resumed using the bye week in 1990.
NFL season consists of 272 games, with each of the NFL’s 32 teams playing 17 games during an 18-week period with one “bye” week off.
The bye weeks this season go from week 6 through week 14, which could affect your fantasy football leagues’ free agents and playoff lineups.
NFL teams can go on bye as few as two or as many as six times every week, depending on the season. The bulk of bye weeks necessitate the absence of four teams.

The 2022 NFL Season will mark the second time in league history that each club will play 17 games, resulting in a larger 18-game schedule. The new bye week schedule, which starts in week six and lasts through week fourteen, has been one of the biggest adjustments for the league and fantasy players.
Six NFL teams have a bye in the final week of the 2022 fantasy football regular season: Indianapolis, Green Bay, Atlanta, Chicago, New Orleans, & Washington.

Byes run relatively late in the season, thus fantasy playoff schedules will need to take this into consideration. In this season, Week 6 and Week 14 both have six teams on bye. There are only two teams on bye between Weeks 8 and 13—the Carolina Panthers.
