New York Jets Super Bowl Odds for 2022-23 NFL Season
Over the past few years, the New York Jets have been regarded as one of the worst NFL teams. Since the 2010 season, the Jets have been without a postseason appearance for eleven seasons. With only four victories, the Jets finished among the worst five clubs in the league the previous season. Since the Jets had +10000 odds to win the Super Bowl at the beginning of last season, there wasn’t much hope for them to rise up the ranks.
Despite having a great Draft class, the New York Jets Super Bowl odds have not moved and are at +12500. If the Jets want to compete in the AFC East, which is becoming a more difficult division and league, they have a lot to prove and a lot of potential to grow.
New York Jets Analysis – Can the Jets claim glory this season?
In an effort to improve their team going into the 2022 season, the New York Jets had a terrible track record over the previous ten years. Zach Wilson, the Jets’ first-round choice in the 2021 NFL Draft, became the focal point of an overhauled offense. At the beginning of last year, Wilson was playing in his rookie season and was having trouble gaining confidence.

He completed 2,334 passes in 13 games while missing four due to injury. Wilson, a BYU graduate quarterback, has the potential to improve this club but will require improved protection from the offensive line. Wilson’s debut season saw some of the worst defensive play in league history as he was sacked 44 times.

The Jets’ draft selections were not used to strengthen the offensive line, but with Wilson as a coach, the line they currently have could be able to demonstrate growth. The New York Jets held three first-round selections in the 2022 NFL Draft, including the fourth, tenth, and 26th overall picks. The Jets selected Cincinnati cornerback Ahmad Gardner with their first choice.
To complete their defense, they added two defensive ends, after which they added a wide receiver, a running back, a tight end, and an offensive lineman. These selections will assist the Jets in improving their offensive shortcomings and concentrating on strengthening their defense.
New York Jets Super Bowl Odds & Futures 2022-2023
The Jets have unquestionably the longest odds to win the AFC East, despite having an intriguing young group and a highly regarded draft. While their chances of making the playoffs this year are slim, they have a promising future. It wouldn’t be out of the question to see this squad make a significant improvement in year two, as we witnessed with the Bengals last season.
