New York Jets Preseason 2022: Full Schedule, Fixtures and Live Stream Details

The New York Jets and their NFL comrades now have a clear idea of where they will be playing this autumn and winter with the official publication of the regular season schedule on Thursday night. Unbeknownst to the public, the 32 teams are also aware of their summer travel plans.

Along with the regular season schedule, the NFL’s preseason schedule for 2022 was made public. All clubs, with the exception of two, will play the new standard schedule of three exhibition games. The exclusions are Jacksonville and Las Vegas, who will play the season’s first unofficial game on Aug. 4 as part of the Pro Football Hall of Fame Game.

How did the New York Jets fare last season?

The New York Jets’ 2021 campaign marked their 62nd overall, 52nd in the National Football League, third under general manager Joe Douglas, and their first under head coach Robert Saleh.

The Jets outperformed their 2-14 record from the prior year. Despite this, they lost their chance to make the playoffs for the eleventh straight season in Week 14. The Jets tied a record set between 1970 and 1980 by missing the playoffs for the eleventh consecutive season.

New York Jets Preseason 2022 Fixtures

As the Jets and Eagles square off in preseason action for the 21st time in the previous 22 seasons, a green tradition, unlike any other continues. But unlike most of the other games, this one will mark the beginning of the summer schedule for each team. The Jets were once again denied a position in the typical Sunday/Monday night prime time slots of the regular season, but the World’s Leading Sports Company will make its first trip to East Rutherford since October 2019 for a green game.
