New York Jets’ Breece Hall RB: NFL Fantasy Data & Stats Speculations 2022

Player Outlook

The New York Jets have a plethora of youthful, offensive playmakers ready to contribute as the club seeks to advance in 2022. Breece Hall, a rookie running back who was selected first overall in the 2022 NFL Draft, is one of those playmakers. In all leagues, Hall is worth picking as early as Round 3.

Hall’s potential will be lowered by the likelihood that he will compete for playing time with Michael Carter, but he should still see enough time in all facets of the offense to succeed.

Hall, the first running back selected in the 2022 NFL Draft, joins a club that had Michael Carter as the reliable starter and Zach Wilson as a dubious quarterback.

Of course, fans will watch to see if Hall’s skill will translate to the NFL level. Given that he has never played a professional snap, it is difficult to say if his NCAA skill set will translate to the NFL. Nevertheless, his potential as an NFL RB is suggested by both the film and the underlying metrics.

Michael Carter, a second-year running back, will be Hall’s competition for the starting role, although Hall should have an advantage. That makes it more likely that he will establish himself right away as an essential component of the Jets’ attack and benefit any fantasy managers who selected him later in the draft.

At 5′ 11″ and 217 pounds, Hall has the build to be a three-down workhorse in the NFL. The fact that Jonathan Taylor is Hall’s closest player comparable based only on statistics is unquestionably a good thing.
