New York Giants News: Rookie Kayvon Thibodeaux’s Four-Worded Message Ahead of Cowboys Fixture
Kayvon Thibodeaux is an outside linebacker for the New York Giants. At Oregon, where he played collegiate football, Thibodeaux earned the Morris Trophy in 2020, was selected as a unanimous All-American in 2021 and was awarded the Pac-12 Defensive Freshman of the Year in 2019. The Giants selected him with the fifth overall pick in the 2022 NFL Draft.
Thibodeaux, though, damaged his MCL against the Cincinnati Bengals in week 2 of the preseason. Due to a damaged MCL, rookie Kayvon Thibodeaux of the New York Giants missed the first two games of the regular season. Even though the green light hasn’t been turned on yet, things seem promising for Thibodeaux to perform on Monday night.

The Giants are optimistic that Thibodeaux will improve their pass rush. The defense has played an important role in the Giants’ 2-0 start to the season. Although Leonard Williams, who is now battling with an MCL strain, is expected to miss the game, their defense would benefit even more if they could receive full participation from their edge rusher.
