New England Patriots Schedule 2022: Opponents, Dates, Times, TV Streams, and Final Record Predictions

The New England Patriots made the playoffs a year after missing them for the first time in 12 years, this time with a rookie quarterback at the helm. Now, Bill Belichick and company will try to get the team back to winning championships. The Patriots made a number of free-agent signings in the NFL offseason of 2021, spending an uncommonly large amount of money, a then-record $163 million in guarantees, in an effort to bolster their lineup.

After missing the playoffs for the first time in more than ten years, this choice was made. Last season, New England‘s defense helped the team win 10 games. The Patriots were fourth in the league in all categories, with an average of 17.8 points and 310.8 total yards allowed per game.

The Patriots should still have a chance to make the playoffs, but that is not a given. A top-two AFC East finish is not either. Here is a detailed look at the Patriots’ 17-game schedule for 2022, complete with dates, start times, and final projections.

New England Patriots final record prediction

Two straight games for New England will be away from home to start the season. To play the Packers, Bills, and Steelers, they will travel to Green Bay, Buffalo, and Pittsburgh. None of them will be simple for New England, since they all have the potential to occur in cold weather. Although the home schedule for New England is a little better, playing host to the Bengals and the Bills will both be challenging contests. So we predict the team’s final record to be 8-9.
