“Never Seen This Malpractice”: Carolina Panthers Coaches Come Under the Bus For Tipping Their Plays, and the Losses are Not Baker Mayfield’s Fault
With two tight games to open the season, the Carolina Panthers are presently 0-2. After losing to the Cleveland Browns 26-24 at home and the New York Giants 19-16 on the road this past week, Sports Illustrated ranked the Panthers 32nd in its weekly NFL power rankings.
Since the 2021 season, Carolina has dropped nine straight games. In his third year as head coach, Matt Rhule. Under Rhule, they are 10–25. The Panthers started a new quarterback in Week 1 for the fourth straight season: Baker Mayfield, Darnold, Teddy Bridgewater, and Cam Newton. With eight catches, 134 receiving yards, and one receiving score this year, Robbie Anderson is the team’s top receiver.
ESPN analyst Dan Orlovsky recently shared his opinion of the Carolina Panthers coaching staff during a broadcast on NFL Live on ESPN.
Dan Orlovsky slams Carolina Panthers coaching staff for malpractice
“This is my favorite tape of the year so far. Straight up, this is unacceptable. It’s candidly coaching malpractice. And any Panthers fan from home, you literally need to go send this to the Panthers organization,” Orlovsky said.
“I’m not sitting here telling everyone that Baker Mayfield is playing great, or that their offensive line is a dominant unit. But every single snap in these games when Christian McCaffrey is one yard behind Baker Mayfield in the shotgun, it is a run or an RPO. When Christian McCaffrey is next to Baker Mayfield at his depth, that is a pass. That is unacceptable in the NFL for the Carolina Panthers coaching staff.”
Unacceptable
Coaching malpracticeYes every @panthers fan should be ticked off

As a supporter of the Carolina Panthers, you must be utterly furious if you watch this video. How is this even a thing that is happening across two games when you are playing at the top level of football? It is also the simplest thing that has ever existed.
The only thing is that it is a planned run if Christian McCaffrey lines up behind Baker. It will be a throw if McCaffrey and Baker are lined up hip to hip. They made the Giants’ defense appear like no one in the world could score on them last week, and any defensive coordinator is going to be able to pick it up.
