Netflix Quarterback Series: Release Date, Episodes, Staring Players & Everything You Need To Know

In the Netflix Quarterback Series, Patrick Mahomes, the most marketable player in the NFL who is renowned for acting so well in front of the camera, frequently uses the f-word.

The eight-episode Netflix documentary, which premieres on Wednesday, contains plenty of insider video on the endearing Chiefs player, even though some of his extracurricular passions (or swear words) were left on the cutting room floor.

Each of the eight episodes explores the highs and lows of playing sports, the weeklong toil they put themselves through physically and mentally, juggling home life, and coping with public criticism.

Which players are featured in ‘Quarterback?’

Mahomes, Kirk Cousins, and Marcus Mariota, three quarterbacks who are mic’d up for every game from the start of the 2022 season to its end and allow cameras inside their personal life, are the subjects of the television show.

Peyton Manning, another well-known quarterback, participates in the project as an executive producer. Manning referred to the Netflix production as “a unique and intimate look at what life is like as a starting QB.”

Viewers will see scenes both inside and outside of the Chiefs’ stadiums, as well as the development of Mahomes’ enormous Kansas City residence.

While dealing with the crippling agony from being struck by defenders, Cousins talks to a sports psychologist and receives care from chiropractors.

Mariota loses his starting job the same week that his wife delivers birth, and without the Atlanta Falcons’ permission, he finally has season-ending surgery.

The Netflix series “gives fans an inside look at the players’ lives on and off the field,” the streaming service claims. In a first-of-its-kind, in-depth look at the work, it captures private moments with their families, friends, and trainers while following them from the field to their homes.

How many episodes are on the Netflix series?

“Quarterback,” a new Netflix football-focused series, will have eight episodes.

Fans will thankfully not have to wait for new episodes every week, allowing them to view the complete series on the move. If you begin the series during training camp, you’ll finish it before the start of the 2023 NFL season.
