“Needs to Develop it as a Weapon”: Former Teammate of Giannis Antetokounmpo Sets a Time-Frame For His 3-Point Shooting
The Greek Freak, Giannis Antetokounmpo, is well-recognized for being able to shape his 6-foot-11 physique into the ideal tool for a variety of jobs. He has loping strides that can cover acres of ground. He can wriggle past defenders to get past-leaning runners. With his absurdly long arms, he can post up, fly for rebounds, and whip passes to teammates.
There is a fierce power battle for the league’s greatest player in the NBA nowadays. Before the season began, Giannis Antetokounmpo and Stephen Curry were in a heated argument all the time. For the past three years, Giannis has consistently put up a fantastic show.
For a number of years, Giannis Antetokounmpo has unquestionably dominated the game. Antetokounmpo has talent, but he can still be better, just like any other athlete.

Giannis Antetokounmpo given a time frame to improve his 3-point skill
The Bucks would rather he keep in mind his apparent advantages. Think about the argument put forth by Steve Novak, a seasoned colleague, and 3-point shooting expert. Without a doubt, Antetokounmpo’s outside shooting is getting better, according to Novak.
“I think a lot of times our weaknesses are our weaknesses for a reason,” Novak told the New York Times in 2016. “I’m a great shooter because I realized early on that I couldn’t drive by guys. I had to shoot the basketball. In Giannis’ case, shooting is settling. And for the next 10 years, it will be settling for him. So I think he needs to develop it as a weapon, but he’s at his best scoring in the paint and getting fouled and getting by his man. That’s always going to be his go-to.”
It's crazy that Giannis Antetokounmpo is 27 years old .. like Steph Curry didn't make his first All-Star Game until 25 .. Michael Jordan didn't win his first title until 28 .. we could be looking at a top-five player ever man

Giannis clearly has to improve his three-point shooting based only on his statistics and style of play. Despite the disappointing outcomes, “The Greek Freak” persisted and never missed less than 200 shots from a distance between 2018 and 2022. He was never accurate enough to make more than 30% of his three-point shots.

This season, Giannis Antetokounmpo has struggled from beyond the arc, averaging only 26.7%. Antetokounmpo promised to continue honing his technique in the interim, fitting in additional shots before and after practice. He appears anxious to test the limits of his game as the rest of the league waits and observes with a mixture of astonishment and worry.
