NBC Sports Host Maria Taylor Announced Her Pregnancy News On The NFL Ground In Between Tons Of Fans

The 2023 NFL season is being enjoyed by NBC Sports anchor Maria Taylor while she is expecting.

In a picture she uploaded on Thursday night to both Instagram and X (previously Twitter), the former ESPN personality proudly embraced her baby bulge while on the field at Arrowhead Stadium.

“Celebrating NFL Kickoff with my own Franchise player in the making,” Taylor wrote.

The mother-to-be uploaded another photo, explaining that her unborn child is presently the size of an American football, and she and her husband are expecting a baby boy in January.

Despite the fact that Taylor announced her pregnancy back in July, for other people it was the first time they had heard of it.

“What??” An anchor for “Access Hollywood,” Kit Hoover, posted something on Instagram. “I’m so excited for you. This is FANTASTIC.”

Jenny Taft, a former “Undisputed” host, wrote: “Sending the biggest congrats!!”

After several failed attempts at in vitro fertilization (IVF), Taylor announced her pregnancy on Instagram earlier this summer.

“The last 3 years have been some of the most physically, mentally, and emotionally challenging years of my life,” Taylor included a collage of pictures of her and her spouse with a sonogram and a child wearing Nike sneakers in her letter.

“My journey to motherhood has not been a straight path. It’s been diverted by surgeries, multiple egg retrievals, and failed IVF cycles.

“There were times when I felt like my body was betraying me, that God didn’t want me to become a mom and that I ultimately didn’t deserve to be a mom.”

Taylor also discussed her experience attempting to conceive a child before the 2022 NFL season.

“It’s still crazy to think that just a year ago I came into the NFL season with the news of a failed embryo transfer,” she wrote in part. “Another hope dashed. And now this fall I come into a new season carrying the greatest gift of all. Our sweet Prince will be here soon and I can’t wait to be his mom!”

Taylor has not made her husband’s name known to the public. In February 2021, they got married, according to her Instagram.
