According to Nick DePaula, Chet Holmgren, the second-overall choice in the 2022 NBA draft, and 13 other NBA rookies have inked shoe deals with Nike. He joins Josh Giddey, another member of the Oklahoma City Thunder, with Nike. Giddey joined them right before the previous campaign. Due to a foot injury, Chet Holmgren will miss the whole 2022–23 campaign. During the offseason, he was participating in a pro-am game in Seattle when he sustained a Lisfranc injury to his right foot.
