NBA Fantasy: DFS Lineups for Thursday, December 30
Another Thursday slate of NBA games provides us with more opportunities to earn some extra money through DFS NBA fantasy, and we’re here to help you build a winning lineup to get some extra cash.
We have four NBA games on December 30, with superstars Stephen Curry, Nikola Jokic, Giannins Antetokounmpo and Kevin Durant all slated to play. Make sure to check out our DFS lineup optimizer to maximize your chances of winning.
Here are some suggestions for your NBA DFS fantasy lineups on Thursday, December 30:
Point guard
Stephen Curry (GSW): Well, what a surprise to start. The first player to ever hit 3000 career 3-pointers will be the star of the show as the Golden State Warriors take on the Denver Nuggets, with current MVP Nikola Jokic coming to town.
I think Curry’s salary looks great on both platforms, but $10,400 on FanDuel is specially cheap for a player of his caliber. He had kind of an off-night against the same Nuggets on Tuesday, scoring just 23 points and 4 assists, but I fully expect him to return to his usual standards; he hit 5-14 3-pointers against Denver last time out and there’s room for improvement there as well.
DK: $11,400 / FD: $10,400
Shooting guard
R.J. Hampton (ORL): We had Hampton listed here on Tuesday and he’s back into our tips. The Magic guard represents fantastic value with the COVID-19 crisis that’s ravaging their roster as of now, and Hampton amassed 29 minutes against Milwaukee two days ago, while hitting just 4 shots out of 11 tries.
I believe Hampton will go back to double-digits on scoring. He represents a major value play in DraftKings with a $3,900 salary.
DK: $3,900 / FD: $5,300
Small forward
Franz Wagner (ORL): Against Milwaukee on Tuesday, the rookie elipsed the 38-minute mark for just the third time in his career, but his night was a banger, with 38 points, 3 assists and 7 rebounds. The bet here is that he’ll continue to thrive while the Orlando Magic deals with their COVID-19 issues, keeping him on the court for more time, especially after such a great game.
The Bucks will provide plenty of opportunities to Wagner get into the score sheet and score a lot of fantasy points for your team. His salary is a great value both in DraftKings and FanDuel.
DK: $7,000 / FD: $7,100
Power forward
Kyle Kuzma (WSH): I’ve seen some people thinking that this could be a tricky matchup for Kuzma with Evan Mobley guarding him, but Bradley Beal is questionable to play and Kuzma’s usage on offense will skyrocket again if Beal is out.
He amassed 22 points, 7 rebounds and 3 assists on Tuesday against the Miami Heat, and I do believe he’ll continue to thrive against the Cleveland Cavaliers today. The price is good both for DraftKings and Fan Duel.
DK: $6,800 / FD: $6,000
Center
Joel Embiid (PHI): Embiid has been the ultimate fantasy player this year with the Sixers’ not having Ben Simmons available. He’s averaging a double-double over his last ten games, with more than 30 points and 10 rebounds, and he has a history of success playing against the Brooklyn Nets, who should have their stars back today, taking away the chance of a blowout.
Embiid’s usage should be really high during Thursday’s game and I’d recommend him on all platforms you play.
DK: $11,000 / FD: $10,800
