Luka Doncic has already been a star this year. His performance in the 2021 NBA playoffs was on a different level. We all have been talking about his bright future after the playoffs. However, big news came out today, the Dallas Mavericks point guard and WNBA’s Chicago Sky forward are the NBA 2K22 cover stars. Doncic and Candace Parker make history with this as Parker is the first female athlete to make it.

 

 

NBA 2K22 will be launched worldwide on September 10. Both Doncic and Parker are super excited about this. I mean who won’t be it’s a damn big thing. Their faces will be in magazines and Playstations. I think it’s a bigger achievement than getting your character skin in Fortnite. Yeah! I will say it again and again as LeBron James skin ruined one of the best games I used to play. With this achievement, Luka Doncic is going global.

I would not have been this happy if the NBA 2K22 cover had someone else than Doncic. This is one of the rarest times they took the right decision. Luka Doncic is really glad about it and he said, ” Basketball gave me so much and it’s my time to repay. I will work with 2K foundations to help young kids around the globe. Also, It’s a proud moment for me as I am representing my country in the special cover.”

 

 

Luca Doncic has already made two All-Star appearances that too in just 3 NBA seasons. He is a superstar averaging 35.7 points per game in the seven playoff games he played. Apart from that, he is also on Solvenia’s national team for Tokyo Olympics. This is the year of Docic, he played incredibly in the 2021 NBA season, he is featured as NBA 2K22 cover star and he is going to win a medal for his country in the Olympics.
