Nate Diaz Ends His UFC Career on a High With a Fourth Round Submission Win Over Tony Ferguson at UFC 279
In what was possibly the first time in UFC history, the top three fights of a PPV event were rearranged just 24 hours out from the event. Khamzat Chimaev, who was supposed to fight Nate Diaz, came in overweight by 7.5-pounds, which kick-started the whole fiasco. Diaz and his team refused to accept a fight against Chimaev and therefore the UFC was forced to match Diaz up against Tony Ferguson.
