Myles Garrett News: Cleveland Browns Staff Provides Massive Update On the Defensive End’s Availability For Week 4
Myles Garrett, a defensive end for the Cleveland Browns, missed practice for the second straight day, raising some questions about his availability for week 4. Garrett was hurt in a one-car collision earlier this week. For failing to maintain control of his car, he received a ticket. Myles Garrett returned to the team’s facility on Thursday but is not participating in practice.
This collision left Garrett with many lacerations, a strained shoulder, and biceps. On Monday, he was discharged from the hospital. Without two important defensive linemen, the Cleveland Browns began their practice on Thursday for their upcoming matchup with the Atlanta Falcons.
Joe Woods, the defensive coordinator for the Browns, stated that even though Garrett and Clowney haven’t practiced this week, the team hasn’t decided to rule either player out for Sunday’s contest.

The Browns will resort to a rotation of youngsters Alex Wright, Isaiah Thomas, and Isaac Rochell against the Falcons if one or both players are unable to play, and they’re also expected to promote Curtis Weaver from the practice squad.

The Browns may need to fill a lot of holes this weekend as a couple other defensive starters were absent from practice on Wednesday. Garrett would be the largest of them if he was unable to participate.
