My hot hubby: Brittany Mahomes supports Patrick’s dad-bod in just three words
Soon after Patrick Mahomes was included in Time’s list of the 100 Most Influential People, his wife Brittany showered her husband with love and gratitude. In an effort to commemorate his induction, Mahomes shared photos from a shoot he did with photographer Joshua Kissi on social media.
Brittany Mahomes made a sweet gesture on her Instagram story by praising her husband and calling him her “hottttttt hubby” while also including a number of emoticons that represented joy and love. Later, she posted a sweet photo of Patrick and their son Bronze, emphasizing the value of spending time together as a family. Mahomes also repeated this message in his piece with Time.
“I’ve looked, if I played until Tom [Brady’s] age, my daughter would be 19, 20 years old,” Mahomes said.
“I would love to play that long. At the same time, I want to be there for my daughter.
“If I can do that, I’ll continue to play. But if I feel like it’s taking away from my family time, that’s when I’ll know it’s time to go.

“My family and football are the first things I want to be great at. If I can go out there and say that I gave everything I had on the football field, expectations are what they are and whatever is going to happen is going to happen. And I can be satisfied with that.”
Mahomes’ fatherly physique
Mahomes accepted the moniker “dad bod” with humility and humor in response to the lighter comments about his physical appearance. Mahomes responded in a lighthearted manner, recognizing his position as a father and drawing attention to the physical demands of his job, following the release of a film featuring his physique and sparking internet teasing.

“I definitely have the dad bod a little bit,” Mahomes told TIME.
“I’ll also say I have a great body for a quarterback. You’ve got to have some padding in there to take the hits that we take.”
