Multiple Fights Were Observed At Jets Training Session

Even though training camp has only been going on for three days, HBO’s “Hard Knocks” may have its greatest episodes yet. On Saturday at training camp, numerous New York Jets players got into fights.

Multiple Fights Were Observed At Jets OTA

In Florham Park, New Jersey, there was a sold-out audience for the first practice that was accessible to fans, which made for quite the spectacle.

Numerous on-field brawls were reported on Saturday, including one that occurred on the offensive line’s right side but was swiftly broken up. Some of the other instances, though, were documented on video.

Interestingly, these instances occurred in front of a sold-out crowd on the first day of practice that was available to the public.

Even if some players appear to get along well, the on-field rivalry between some players is likely to make for compelling television.

According to The Athletic, the initial altercation occurred at 11:15 a.m. It happened on the offensive line’s right side, but it was over immediately.

A minute later, though, another one popped up, this time on the left side of the line.

Jermaine Johnson and Micheal Clemons, two defensive players in their second year, faced up against Kenny Yeboah and Jeremy Ruckert, two tight ends.

However, Johnson and Clemons felt that two attempts against offensive linemen weren’t enough and made a third attempt.

The Jets will play in the Pro Football Hall of Fame Game for the first time since 1992 in their debut game. The Cleveland Browns, against whom they last played in a preseason game in 2008, will be their opponent. On Thursday, August 3, the match will be held at Tom Benson Hall of Fame Stadium in Canton, Ohio.

Notably, this game will be Rodgers’ first start at quarterback for the Jets after being acquired in a trade from Green Bay officially during the NFL Draft week.
