Months After Retirement, Former Great Britain Skater Joins OnlyFans to Fund 2026 Winter Games

Within months after declaring her retirement, former Team GB speed skater Elise Christie made the switch to OnlyFans. She has benefited financially from the relocation, even though it hasn’t been simple in every way.

Following his ankle injury that prevented him from competing in the 2022 Winter Games, the 33-year-old decided to give up speed skating. Christie said in September 2022 that she was getting ready to make a comeback and that she hoped to use her OnlyFans content to raise money to compete in the 2026 Winter Games.

More than a year later, how are things going? She’s not as wealthy now as she was when she had to work three jobs to get by.

“It’s my body, I worked for this body, I didn’t just get given it. So the way I see it is that I’m making money out of what I worked for,” In an interview recently, Christie stated. “You’re in control of what you do and how far you want to go.”

“It took me a while to get braver with the stuff I was doing and open up about it. It was scary the first time. Now I’m in a place where I’m not worried.”

Although she has found success in creating content, it’s not all fun and games. She has to get more comfortable with it. She doesn’t love her job, and the social media component of her new venture is one of them.

“It’s only the social media stuff I find a bit difficult. I’ve found taking a step away from social media is good for me. So I promote it but I’m not reading comments and thinking about what everybody is saying,” she continued.

Creating Content Is Not Elise Christie’s Only Goal

“And now I make more from OnlyFans than what I made when I was working three jobs.”

Her comeback is not discussed in the conversation. It is possible that Christie is holding those intentions under wraps for the time being. Alternatively, it could be that she has chosen to concentrate on content rather than rivalry.

It doesn’t seem like she will retire from OnlyFans, for whatever reason. It’s a stepping stone to the next thing, in her opinion. Still, she acknowledges that she is happier now that she is playing the story game.

“I don’t see OnlyFans as a forever thing. But I can see it benefiting my future life,” Christie said. “It’s the first time in my life I’ve been truly happy.”

It doesn’t really matter if OnlyFans finances her return. It definitely would have made for a fantastic narrative. However, the internet has offered something better: happiness and financial success through the sale of content to random users.
