Mommy Dunne Celebrates Olivia Dunne and LSU For Record-Breaking Performance
On March 9, the Baton Rouge saw Olivia Dunne in the blue leotard again, scattering her flares throughout the surface. The gymnastic genius did more that night than only performing floor exercises. She received a solid 9.875, which she increased from her 9.9 on the floor exercise to a 9.875 on the uneven bars routine. In the end, Olivia Dunne’s nighttime heroics enabled the LSU Tigers to reclaim their championship. Katherine Dunne, her mother, was to be expected to call out in such a circumstance.

That’s what she ended up doing last night. Observing the Louisiana gymnastics squad’s intense performance, however, she celebrated yet another program achievement.
Olivia Dunne gives her the warmest regards.
The LSU Tigers won with a 198.125 NQS (Net Qualifying Score), after they eliminated the quad challenge on March 8. Being able to sit on the throne is one of the rare moments in the history of the program. Furthermore, the Jay Clark-coached team achieved the exceptional feat of 49.695 FX NQS.
W/ their performance tonight, @LSUgym has improved their NQS to 198.125, their first time w/ a NQS at 198+.
Their FX NQS is now 49.695. That is the highest FX NQS any school has EVER had!!!

After the ranking articulation in NCAA gymnastics, the NQS discussion eventually took hold. A gymnastic program’s season’s top six scores are taken into account for the scale, according to the mathematical procedure. However, three out of the top six scores must come from the away meets.

Thus, it will be possible to reconcile the home run disparities. Although it might have been a home or away run, the LSU Tigers maintained a score of at least 197 in that case. With an astounding 198.475, Olivia Dunne’s team boasted that they had the second-highest score of the season, right after Oklahoma. But Livvy previously offered her perspective on this season’s explosive run by Tiger Nation.
