MLB fans agree with young fan’s cheeky Olivia Dunne comment during Pirates game interview
When talking about Paul Skenes, the new great pitcher, MLB fans couldn’t help but smile at this little Pirates fan.
On Thursday, the San Francisco Giants and Pirates were playing Major League Baseball.
SportsNet Pittsburgh’s Hannah Mears, a sideline reporter for the Pirates, entered the stands to speak with spectators.
And she happened upon a class of youngsters from Greensburg’s Amos K. Hutchinson Elementary.

In honor of the player chosen with the first overall choice in the MLB Draft, several of the fans donned fake mustaches.
Cooper, one of the younger fans, drew a mustache on his face. Mears questioned Cooper, in a conversation, “What’s your favorite thing about Mr. Paul Skenes?”
Cooper did not hesitate in the slightest.
“His mustache and Livvy Dunne,” He uttered Dunne’s name, even increasing his voice.

The relationship between Dunne, a gymnastics standout at LSU, and Skenes is making a ton of news.
Two weeks ago, Dunne witnessed Skenes’ Major League Baseball debut against the Chicago Cubs.
During that game, she was interviewed by Sportsnet Pittsburgh as well.
“I had some nerves creep in at first, but I’ve kind of channeled it into excitement rather than nerves, and I just have the most confidence in him ever,” she said.

“This is probably one of my favorite moments I’ve ever seen, seriously, there’s nothing that can top this. I’m just so proud.”
