MLB DFS Top picks for July 29, 2022

  1. Justin Verlander ($10500) – One of the top pitchers from the Houston Astros side this season. In 116.1 IPs this season, Verlander has 117 strikeouts and 21 walks at an incredible 1.86 ERA. He is bound to give you a good haul of fantasy points later tonight if you pick him as his stats suggest.
  2. Gerrit Cole ($10400) – The Yankees pitcher is having another incredible season this term. Cole has racked up 153 strikeouts and 52 walks in 119.1 IPs this season. He is one of the key performers for the New York side and could also fetch you a lot of fantasy points in the process.
  3. JT Realmuto ($4900) – The Phillies star is having a relatively average campaign this season. With 78 hits and 43 runs in 303 ABs, Realmuto has been rather underwhelming. However, he can still contribute to some vital points for later tonight.
  4. Miguel Cabrera ($2300) – The veteran designated hitter is our economical pick for tonight. Given that Cabrera has 87 hits and 22 runs in 306 ABs this term, he should be able to add some value to your fantasy team.
  5. Javier Baez ($4400) – The Detroit Tigers shortstop has 71 hits and 37 runs in 328 ABs this season. Although his stats don’t make for great reading, he can still put up some impressive displays with the bat.
  6. Aaron Judge ($6200) – One of the top players for the Yankees this season. Judge has 108 hits and 82 runs in 369 ABs this season and is averaging .293. His stats show that you can possibly bank on him to get some valuable points this term.
