Here, we take a look at our MLB DFS top picks for the crunch games between the San Francisco Giants vs Los Angeles Dodgers, San Diego Padres vs Colorado Rockies and Los Angeles Angels vs Oakland Athletics on August 3rd.

MLB DFS Top picks for August 3rd, 2022

  1. Blake Snell ($7900) – The star pitcher for the Padres is having a great season this term and has already racked up 69 strikeouts and 34 walks in 55 IPs this season at a 4.43 ERA. He is expected to do well against the Rockies later tonight after getting 7 strikeouts in his last outing and should be able to get a good haul of fantasy points.
  2. Alex Cobb ($7200) – The San Francisco Giants pitcher is one of the better-performing players on his team and has 77 strikeouts and 20 walks in 75.9 IPs at a 4.06 ERA this season. Cobb had an incredible 11 strikeouts in his previous outing against the Cubs and has been in great form recently. We expect him to continue with his impressive displays later tonight.
  3. Sean Murphy ($4100) – The Oakland Athletics catcher has 80 hits and 42 runs in 335 ABs this season and is batting at a .242 average. He has contributed well this season for this team and got back to form well in his previous outing against the Angels where he managed 2 hits yesterday after failing to get any hits against the White Sox.
  4. Treat Turner ($6000) – The Dodgers shortstop has managed to get among the runs often this season and has 129 hits and 62 runs in 418 ABs, batting at a .309 average. He has done well against the Giants in his last two games and should be able to continue his good form into Wednesday as well.
